Nonbinary People's Day Picnic
Nonbinary North Shore’s annual Nonbinary Awareness Picnic is back! Join us for an afternoon of queer cheer and outdoor fun! This is a FREE, potluck style picnic. Meet near the playground in the corner of Salem Common.
Nonbinary+ folx are ENCOURAGED to bring respectful guests, partners, friends, and family. The common has some shady areas, a covered band-stand, and a lot of open sunny space for activates! Some games, picnic blankets, seating, and light snacks and drinks will be provided, but please be prepared to provide your own meal. There are several restaurants within walking distance. …… and yes, there will be frisbee.
Attendees are encouraged to bring:
-Sunscreen
-Food and drink for yourself
-Food and drink to share (with a full ingredient list in case of food allergies)
-Outdoor games
-Fidget toys/comfort objects
-Portable art (sketch pads, knitting etc.)
Parking: Parking in the nearby Museum Place Garage is recommended, though there is some street parking in the area. The garage is a 3 minute walk from the Common. Museum Place Garage 1 Church St, Salem, MA 01970
Nonbinary North Shore (NBNS) is a social group for nonbinary folx in the (Boston) North Shore area. We are also open to gender questioning, genderqueer, genderfluid, gender nonconforming, trans, and otherwise gender expansive folx. NBNS hosts monthly socials and more.
